Lori Lawson Last year's first place winner, Lori Lawson, received $150 for her essay on organ donation.

Check back for more information on the 2010 Student Essay Contest. The topic will be determined.

 

First Prize:  $150.00  

Second Prize:  $100.00

Third Prize:  $50.00

Winning essays will be announced at the Educational Seminar on Friday, April 30, 2010. Winners will be notified prior to the Educational Seminar. We would like the students to be present to accept the award if at all possible. Prizes will be paid in your name to your school to assist you with tuition, books and fees.

Entries must be 1,000 words or less and be typewritten. One entry per author, English only. Your name should not appear on the essay. Place “ISSAMT Spring Educational Seminar Essay Contest” in the upper right portion of the first page along with the title. On a separate page attached to the back of the essay, include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and school which you are attending. 

 

All essays become the property of ISSAMT and will not be returned to the authors.  The essay may be posted on our web site or published and the author gives their consent by sending an entry.
